Perhaps it reflects the fact that these are, collectively, the largest and most expensive loudspeakers a seriously committed and fairly affluent audiophile can accommodate (or less affluent but no less committed audiophile can aspire to). Given that situation, the Stenheim’s ability to match and work in a range of different room sizes – and with a range of different amplifiers – could well prove decisive.
