Meet Martin Leung

After plenty of experimentation, I’ve not only been thoroughly satisfied with the results, I keep finding new places to apply the tape! I recently discovered that applying the NRF-005T to components such as capacitors and inductors within a speaker’s crossover network brought even greater improvements. The soundstage became more focused, and bass frequencies revealed clearer definition and layering.

That said, not all loudspeakers offer easy access to their crossover components—and not all listeners are comfortable going inside their speakers. If that’s the case, a small piece of tape applied near the speaker terminals can still make a meaningful difference. You don’t need to cover a large area; even a small application is enough to suppress unwanted interference.

In my experience, if you’re looking for an effortless way to elevate your system and loudspeakers performance (and who isn’t?), there’s no simpler or more cost-effective solution than this. Prices will vary depending on your location, but in Europe, a roll of NRF-005T will cost around €120. Alternatively, it’s available from multiple Japanese outlets at lower prices, via ebay – although remember to calculate tax and shipping before you get too excited!
