If the Emitter II Exclusive HV has a limitation in terms of the high-end market, it’s that it’s too cheap for an end-game amplifier. But hey – you can always add a second unit… Eight boxes, oodles of power, rare enough and extravagant enough to satisfy even the most gear-crazy audiophile, what’s not to like? I live with and review crazily expensive amplification on a daily basis, but if it all came to a grinding halt and I had to down-size (okay, make that down-price) to a more affordable solution, this is the one I’d be aiming for. In musical terms, it really is that good.
